Lodge Renovation
Traditional form meets contemporary comfort
This sensitive renovation respects the character of the building while upgrading comfort, usability, and performance for modern use. Natural materials and unique crafted details come together in this thoughtfully upgraded rural home.
Rural Cottage
Working with nature
This beautiful new home is designed to be in keeping with its rural location. Traditional features such as granite stonemasonry and slate roofing pay homage to the site's past. Timber cladding, a green sedum roof and a hidden bat box align with the woodland location, whilst carefully selected building materials make it energy efficient.

Sunroom Addition
An extension with 'wow' factor
This sunroom extension contrasts sleek glass and timber decking with the original Victorian house. With clever use of light, it is a celebration of contemporary design, modern materials and traditional architecture.

Coastal Escape
Letting in the light
DWR Architecture undertook the design and specifications for this cottage renovation on the west coast of Scotland. A dark extension was transformed into a cosy sunroom which makes the most of the beautiful views. A wood burning stove and up to date insulation keep it cosy all year round.
